To prepare for meditation.

Meditation can be done anytime and any place but when you are learning it's best to dress comfortably and find a quiet and undistracting spot where you can feel relaxed.

  1. Find a quiet place with few distractions.
  2. Wear comfortable clothing.
  3. Sit comfortably but don't slouch (you can sit in a chair).

  • Once you understand each task, you can either close or half-close your eyes as you practice.
  • When you meditate, normally you try not to move when you notice sensation. The exception is if you have pain or a medical condition that requires movement.
